Well I waited until from 3800 came out. Completed and efiled then got a rejection from IRS. TurboTax message says.
There is an issue related to Form 3800
This issue will be resolved in a product release scheduled for March 22, 2024. On or after March 22, 2024 sign in to TurboTax and follow the steps below to review and resubmit your return.
No additional information on what is wrong and what will be corrected so I cannot make a judgement if I should move on to some other package or method. Also, my State efile return was rejected at the same time but there is no details or explanation from TurboTax as to why. I am guessing it is for the same reason.
Is there anyone at TurboTax that can provide specific answers on why my returns were rejected?
Sorry. There are no TurboTax reps on this forum.
Try https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us
I did get to talk to 2 live people somehow at one point via the Intuit web site, but they were only a little bit helpful.
I believe I am experiencing the same issue.
I have a home energy credit of $600 which TT has placed on Form 5695 and TT shows as being e-file ready. However, when my return was rejected the accompanying message stating:
"ED_3800_part2Line10b - There is an issue related to Form 3800, General Business Credit."
However, form 3800 also shows e-file as e-file ready.
TT provides a bit more information on the e-file status screen, stating:
There is an issue related to Form 3800, General Business Credit.

[steps removed by me]
Note that your tax refund/liability may have changed due to Energy Efficient Home Energy Credit now being accounted for on the General Business Credit Form - General business credits are limited to your tax liability minus any personal credits.
Here are a few questions:
Given that I am in the health care exchanges, it's critical I file my taxes in a timely fashion, especially since I need to pay back some premium subsidies this year, so this situation has me more than a little anxious. Any help would be most appreciated.
You chimed in earlier in this thread about Form 3800, and not sure but it appears you may be a TT employee? Is there anything you can add? Many of us have waited for March 6th to come, and now I see folks continuing to have problems. Is the date now March 22nd? Should anyone with an actual need for Form 3800 wait to file because it is still not ready? Thanks.
Another year of delays. Now its saying coming soon and its been this way for 4 days!
And here we are, another year. Form 3800 says available Feb 20, 2025. Okay we shall see. Hopefully not like last year. Postponed and postponed well into March.
Check here for a schedule of when forms are available in TurboTax.
I was able to submit my tax return on 2/20/25 so it looks like this is resolved however the efile date was wrong again this year and the manual date was correct.
