I received a W-2 from tri-net has combined them both companies on the same W-2. lines 15 through 20, have two lines with 2 different CASDI from the two different employers. I created 2 lines in Turbo Tax by "Add another state" and then selecting California for both states. I still received an error statement saying that I could not have 2 lines with the same state name and Turbo Tax returned me to the page and asked me to fix the error. What I should do?

Please clarify if you received one W-2 or two. I'm not sure how you can have one W-2 with two different employers because your income should be reported by each employer identified by their federal ID number.
How much is the total CASDI? For 2022 the maximum tax is $1,601.60. If your total is less than that just add them together on one line. And actually when entering your w-2, put your CA SDI amount in box 14 instead of box 19 so it will be deducted as part of your state and local income taxes paid on federal Schedule A.
@SharonD007 Worked with 2 companies, they used the same HR service company, which sent me only one W-2 combined the two employer's info.
@VolvoGirl The amount on line 19 contains 2 rows, each from a company. The sum is more than $1601.60. How can I ask the part I paid above $1601.60 back?
If they will not issue you a new Form W-2 you will need to combine the entries for those lines.
Turbo Tax will calculate the excess CA SDI that you paid and give you credit for it.
