Turbotax says CT forms will be available 1/23/25 so I'm wondering why I can't file my CT return yet?

Sadly, the uninstall+reinstall trick doesn't seem to work for me on Mac. I may try it on a PC, if the product key will allow a second install.

Edit: ... aaaand it is allowing me to reinstall federal + CT on my PC, but my return will not function properly unless I install NY on it as well and it wants to charge me $40 for that. I know that is not intentional on Turbotax's part, but this feels very scammy. I'm just trying to file my single tax return (for federal + NY + CT) that I have paid for, and Turbotax essentially had one job (let me file my return) and can't do it.

Finally. Tried again today (Feb 21st), and it finally recognized that the updated CT forms (which in theory were updated ~3 weeks ago) were available to download.

Issue seems to be fixed.

It is now 2/21/25 and CT - 1040NR/PY and Sch CT - SI are not loading. Any suggestions?

You need to uninstall and reinstall your TurboTax software.

I've done both suggested steps - removed the State and also uninstalled and reinstalled TurboTax 2024 twice. The first time I was able to get past the files aren't ready and now it says "Return is a non-calendar year return." This doesn't make sense. I don't have any data from a prior year. Why can't I move forward with my CT state return?

I have logged into CT department of revenue services, entered my info and my refund is substantially less than is on TurboTax, so I must have done something wrong. This is maddening!!

 Has anyone in CT had any luck getting the forms from TurboTax? My desktop version still won't download an update for CT state. I signed up for an email to notify me when it is available, and I got the notification that it is ready.  But it still won't download.

I posted above when I figured out the solution .. you need to delete the program and reinstall from scratch.

Should work if you try it, don't expect any help from turbo tax.

I uninstalled TT Business and reinstalled it. Still unable to file my CT Business return.

STILL A PROBLEM - CAN'T FILE WITH STATE OF CT.  state of CT tax forms  - still getting a message that I can't file...i transmit for updates, told I've got complete software for CT, then not able to transmit CT tax return.  this is a big problem!

I've disabled the ad blocker.

I've delete all cookies created in the last week.

Still not working.
