Runt,
While we cannot see your return in this forum, a very good thing, if you are using a Desktop version of TurboTax, you would switch to Forms View and track it down directly. With an Online version, you have the opportunity to save and view a PDF of your return before having to e-file but after paying the e-file fee. Examine that PDF to see where that extra tax came from and if that looks squirrely then simply go back to the relevant part of TurboTax check and correct if necessary before going back to the e-file dialogue. Do the actual e-file only when you are absolutely convinced you understand everything in question.
you may want to start with schedule 2 because that's where the detail would likely be
I had a similar issue and found I had left out a decimal point making a 100x inflation of the input. Review your inputs for the taxes section to confirm no such error. Good luck, this may not be your mistake, but it might help.
Can you tell us where this "Other Taxes" appears? Is it on a tax form? If so, what form and what line?
Or does it appear in the TurboTax interview, like under Deductions & Credits? That is, is it on a summary screen inside TurboTax? If so, what headings are on this screen?
Even better, can you do a screenshot with any personally identifiable info redacted and add it to this post?
