Turbotax Business 2023 E-file amended return

I need to amend an 1120S that was filed and accepted a month ago.  After making corrections and going to the File tab, I am only given the option to e-file my state return.  How do I e-file the amended Federal 1120S for 2023?

TurboTax Business does not support e-filing amended returns (at least not when the original return was e-filed through TurboTax Business).

Thank you for your response.  I was able (in fact required according to TurboTax) to e-file my Oklahoma state amended return, but it never states anything about the federal amended return having to be mailed.

Patty, where do you go in TT to find the tab for filing an amended 2023 1120S. I don't see the option.

When I first opened TT it gives me the following options:

Start a new Tax Return

Continue a Tax Return

Amend a Tax Return

File an Extension

I had already filed the return on TT that I needed to amend so I don't know if that option shows if you didn't originally file on TT

I have the same problem - the option to e-file the state amended return was presented, but no instructions about manually filing the federal return were presented. This is a very poor user experience.

What is an even worse user experience is: in Virginia, 502PTET returns (state return for pass through entity) MUST be filed electronically; state will not accept paper.  While TT allows filing the 502PTET electronically, it does not support e-filing Virginia 502PTET amended. Therefore I am stuck, and had to switch to TaxAct!
