@nywoman try phoning the help number in my post above.
Thank you to user TexanIndian for this tip earlier in the comments:
If you are not seeing a "Get Your Identification Code" link or if the link does not work, try opening a browser window and go to: https://secure.chase.com/web/auth/?LOB=TurboTaxLogon
I was able to import my 1099-Bs from J.P. Morgan Securities and file my return.
This link worked for me and allowed me to get the code required to download from JP Morgan Securities
did not work for me. It won't let me continue after I put in act info and access code. The only option I get is SKIP IMPORT. This is so frustrating!
I figured out why I was having issues - if you autofill your bank id and password it doesn't work. I had to manually enter my user id and password for the continue button to appear. So all is good now I was able to import from 2 financial institutions!
Having same issue of not being able to download tax info from Chase bank to TT. TT indicates that they are working on this issue for last two weeks (ARE THEY REALLY WORKING?). No problems for last seven years but I do not understand why this year. If there is a problem they should go back to same set up as of last year.
will not get TT next year.
Just get this issue resolved

@Philmb suggested a workaround above that seems to have been successful for some. In the meantime, please try that to see if it will allow you to import.
Spoke to Chase this morning. TurboTax is now promising to have the import issue with the desktop turbotax problem and Chase fixed by March 4.
Please see these steps provided by Chase to help with your import.
For Brokerage and Managed Accounts
Within the TurboTax software, use “Chase Investments” to search for the financial institution.
Enter your chase.com username, password, and identification code.
Request the identification code by clicking the ‘Get Your Identification Code’ link within TurboTax.
You'll be presented with a chase.com sign-in page for multifactor authentication purposes (similar to the one that appears when you sign in to chase.com from an unrecognized computer).
Choose to receive the identification code by phone, text, or email.
Upon receipt, type the identification code into TurboTax to proceed with the download process; the identification code expires after 30 minutes.
Why am I unable to import from Chase Bank/Investments?

Chase customer support is (800)392-5749.
Windows PC with TurboTax desktop version. No option to pick "chase investments". Tried JP Morgan Securities without success. "Chase Bank" also doesn't work with my username and correct password.
Can't believe this issue has been going on for >2 weeks. Please fix!

Chase not working is just revealing a larger issue of quality, consistency and standards. If an interface works for one institution it should be the same for all of them so the customer doesn't have to figure them out and the banks and TT can hide the differences behind the scenes. If I go to Schwab to do an import it presents a screen for me to connect to Intuit (what for???) and offers a big disclaimer about their responsibilities. With Chase I just can't get in. This is not useful. I will be printing out what I have entered and letting my accountant use her software for the downloads and next year just bypass this step completely.
I had the same problem! Use the J.P. Morgan Securities for the import; there is a link to get a code at the bottom. I just did it and imported my 1099-B 1099-DIV and 1099-INT from there, was getting frustrated as well cause Chase Investments isn't listed and Chase Bank doesn't go anywhere. Also, I am using the desktop version.
With the tax filing deadline a little over a month away, I just need to ask - any plans to actually FIX this problem that a lot of us are obviously having? As of the update applied this morning, it's still not address, the Chase import does not work and it looks like TurboTax is just not connecting properly to the Chase website. It is NOT a Chase problem. If I need to manually do everything that's fine which defeats the purpose of paying $80 for your software when it doesn't work as intended. I'll be looking for a refund in that case.
@HeatherPLO (just grabbed a random "Expert")
anyone got luck with Chase import? Not working for me...
TurboxTax couldn't import my W2, WellsFargo, Chase, I also have a Citi account... TurboTax 2021 really sucks! ☹️👎👎👎👎👎
