Turbo Tax wont efile my CA return!!! All forms have been released

CA return with FORM 568 single member LLC

I've ALWAYS efiled my CA return with Turbo Tax,  while having to snail mail in my Form 568 separately because Turbo Tax hasn't supported efile of form 568.

After filling everything out, It tells me I have to mail my 568 again this year (already got a waiver)  but now Turbo Tax wont efile my CA return???

Message I get says:

We won't be able to efile your return

Reason for efile ineligibility:

Reasons including one instance of Form 568 cannot be filed electronically at this time

Turbo Tax does not support this information to be filed electronically

The good news is you can still file your CA return by mail

PLEASE HELP!! Why cant I file my CA return electronically,  while mailing my Form 568 in???

E-file of CA form 568 is not supported by TurboTax.

I know!!! I'm not trying to efile my Form 568. I'm mailing it in.

I'm trying to efile my CA return.

As per my post, Turbo Tax has ALWAYS in past ALLOWED  for efiling of CA return, while having to mail the Form 568 in.

Always!!

Now its not allowing efiling of CA return as well. Its like its not separating the two???

You can ask customer support to look into that.

There is no single published number because it changes contently depending on the nature of the call and agent availability. Following the link below will either give a current number for you to call or take your number for a callback.

(Note that phone support is for paying customers only. There is no phone support for Free Customers.)

Here is a TurboTax FAQ for contacting customer support.

Called Support.  Waited 45 minutes for a call back. The support agent was trying to "figure it out",  then told me her system crashed and she couldn't help me???

Now I have another call in, waiting for a call back!!

In meantime if anyone else sees this post and can help??

On another note -  I started a whole NEW return thinking I'd made an error somewhere but its giving me the same response. Now I have two returns showing when I open my Turbo tax windows that I downloaded from CD!

How does one delete an unnecessary return when using the WINDOWS CD?? I see responses for Turbo Tax online but again, I'm using  Turbo Tax  I downloaded from a CD?? Home and Business edition

I reality, this is an issue for the TurboTax State (CA) developers.  Whether this is an oversight or by design, it will be near impossible to get any answer from them anytime soon.   I can put in a request to the forum moderators but will not expect any answer from development anytime soon.

If it were me, I would not pull my hair (what little there is) and just print and put a stamp on my CA return.

I'm a Mac user, but it would be the same in Windows.  The data file is a .tax2019 file on the computer that can be deleted just like any other file.   It cannot be deleted through TurboTax but by using the Windows software.

You can also try the manual update. It’s not supposed to be to fix state download but you don’t seem to be getting much better advice:

Also. If you close out the software, right click on the TurboTax icon. If it shows JUST compatibility (not troubleshoot compatability) select that and then RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR

Everything is updated. I'm probably going to have to file it by mail - grrrr -

Hey Turbo Tax - this is ridiculous, one big the reason I buy your software is to be able to Efile!!
