How do i leave a review of turbo tax

I did turbotax this year for 2021, claims it would be free but is infact not free and had no way to choose that option.  Furthermore was said to recieved 2,368.00, only have recieved 1 stimulus and nothing else.. other people recieved multiple stimulus money.  I had a "professional" help me with turbotax because there was no other free option.   I recieved a note from the irs that I would be getting back 960.00 instead.  I dont understand how that could be. I've been working so hard and struggling for so long and yet again get had by " professionals" and a scam website that I will not be dealing with ever again. Furthermore  there was no way to leave a review on google, google play, or any of the turbotax,  intuit  websites.. they definitely do not want your voice heard. #turbotax

After many hours on customer support (which was a story unto itself), I was told that my CD was faulty and I would need a new one.  First they tried charging me with shipping, which I fought - another 2 hours to save a few dollars, but it was the principle.  Then, I found the bug in their system and manually overwrote it.  Could not file electronically, so there was the cost of dozens of printed pages and postage.  Then the kicker, my credit card statement arrived and Intuit charged me $45 for the software I already purchased, which they insisted I needed.  The new CD has never been opened.  They are the worst.  I'm done with them, and any other product they are involved with.

Hello, if you only received one stimulus check contact IRS had the same issue to find out my checks where send and returned. Got them reissued. My Turbo tax stated a higher return the IRS stated with a call I got that fixed. And as you stated it isn't for free, beside to file I got charged extra fee for getting it taken out. And to leave a review is a joke no place just here in the community.

The answer is you probably can't.  I've tried all over this website to find it and have found nothing except for a page that shows a bunch of 5 star reviews. I'm assuming they make this difficult because they have so many people trying to leave bad reviews because this company is sham and a rip-off.

@James214969   If you have a simple tax return then try doing it for free by hand and avoid the stress of using a program or online.

If you want to file for free you can fill out the forms by hand. Here are some basic forms…..

Got stuck in a loop where it kept asking me to update info, which I did.  The site still would not let me submit my taxes electronically, which is the entire reason I used Turbo Tax in the 1st place.  I paid $145 for nothing and now they refuse to refund me (even though its their software that doesn't work).

I won't use Turbo Tax again.

Sorry to hear this. If you used the online version there is no fee to e-file. The fee for e-filing using the software is $24, not $145. Therefore, if you used Turbo Tax to prepare your return you must pay for using it, a refund will not be authorized in this case.

Because my son had $2.70 of interest income, you charged us as a complex case.  You can look it up by my user ID - I paid $145.  So wrong.   It won’t happen again.  I’ll use a real tax service from now on.

I have had Turbo Tax do my taxes the last 5 years. This year they under estimated my payment to the IRS for federal taxes. IRS ended up sending me a letter telling me my payment was due. I will not be using turbo tax again.

I am 70 yrs old so have been filing taxes for decades. This year I decided to try Turbo Tax. The worse mistake of my life. The system continually glitched. I started over THREE TIMES to try to correct it! TWO AND A HALF hrs on the phone. The first lady did not know what to do so was communicating with someone else on another line. I ended up with bad advise. After I demanded a supervisor--who had to decided if she wanted to talk to me-- the tax return was amended but now i have to use mail in!! Total waste of money. Horrible customer service. Run. Do not walk from TurboTaz.

I have filed my taxes with a turbo tax expert for about 4 years. This year I was told I owed Federal $200. IRS sent me a letter saying I owed more. Why was I given the wrong amount? I would of rather been told up front by the expert than to get blindsided by IRS. I am not happy and will probably go back to getting my taxes done by a local company.
