Turbo Tax asks me if I want to send a check to IRS? Can I just pay by my card?

I filed an extension and I am at the final step and then Turbo tax says "mail a check" or "request an installment plan"....Can't I just send in my tax return showning the amount due but pay today by my card online one one of those tax sites?

Thanks!

Or do I have to send in a paper check?

Yes you can pay however you want.  Just say you will mail a check and then pay online.  You don't have to mail a check.

Pay the IRS directly at

Turbo Tax should say on the cover page where to mail.

Where to mail federal paper returns

Thanks! I'm in Florida so I was just trying to figure out if I should send it to the address turbo tax requests. But on the main IRS site it says without a payment send to Austin instead not North Carolina.

So payment is due on my return but since I'm paying online I didn't know if I should still send it to Austin or North Carolina?

Thanks!
