Wow MonikaK1, this is interesting. If TurboTax was actually usable after the change to the interface this year, one might be able to file their taxes and could then enter the feedback that TurboTax is unusable so management would see it.
I won't try to find a way to complete my taxes with TurboTax this year after wasting countless hours attempting to use the "new and improved" interface. After more than 20 years of using TurboTax, I'll be going elsewhere.
We have a tech team looking into this issue. Thank you for your attention and comment.
Interesting! Your tech team will fix the issue AFTER filing deadline has passed?
This is not a Technical issue. The software worked perfectly up until this year.
This is a Management/Business issue. Why did Intuit allow this change to be made, rendering the software nearly useless ?
I don't know if they will refund, but to try, open your intuit account. Open the Products & Billing tab, and you will see a block with your products. Click the hard to find > in the upper right corner of the box. That should open a page with whatever you've purchased. The button for a refund is at the bottom of that box. BUT FIRST: You can then click on the Payments menu, and that should get you to all of your payments. You MUST have that info - order number, date, etc. to even request a refund. They don't make it easy, but still easier than the new TT interface!
They have a box for comments. I said how bad it is, but also include a link to this discussion. Good luck.
