I bought the Turbo tax Premier for 2020 and I put the disc in and it won't open. I don't understand about settings it asks in the beginning. I have used Turbo Tax for years and never a problem

Please verify that Windows can read your TurboTax CD by following the steps below:
If an error occurs, Windows can't read the TurboTax CD. Your TurboTax CD may be defective or damaged. You can request a replacement here.

@Emily Chronister have you tried the troubleshooting steps @DaraLO posted? If those steps don't resolve your issue, would you let us know the exact problem you are running into so we can better assist you?
TT cd disc is not loading to my pc (windows 10)

@davpala Have you attempted any of the troubleshooting steps provided by DoninGA above? If not please do so and if you have already, please let us know what specific error you are receiving. Please also check the minimum system requirements link provided in that same response.
