Turbo tax 1099 Form numbering error

I'm entering my 1099-R into Turbotax.

The box numbering in Turbotax is not the same as the Federal 1099-R.

       16                       State Distribution Amt            14

I almost entered the 1099's "State Distribution Amt" into Turbotax's "State Tax Withheld" box.   BAD!

TurboTax uses the Proper 2020 newly issued, official, IRS box numbering for a standard 1099-R

BUT  if yours is a Federal retirement form, it might be either a CSF- or CSA-1099-R....and if it is, then you are using the wrong software form....You need to select the proper CSA- or CSF- form when you first started thru entering that retirement form...and yes, the software CSA- or CSF-1099-R forms do use boxes 12,13,14 in those specific form types.
