@Scottyh04 What do you mean you’ll be waiting until May? What’s your predicerment?
TurboTax told me this a.m. that they have nothing to do with the statement Santa Barbara has on its website about funds which is interesting considering that’s the company/bank they use to distribute tax refunds. First hiding the free tax product now this. Very questionable and I will be using the H&R tax product next year.
My Turbo card is thru GreenDot bank....
Yea so it will most likely come through the green dot card aka turbo card
It would be better if the reps just stated that they don’t know yet. But all my info on my 1040 and turbo tax/green dot card say the same thing so I’m not sure what the issue is...
So we will get the money on my turbo card on the April 9
@Cwomack thats exactly what I believe. Some people are saying the beginning of the week April 13th but the Washington Post reporter April 9th direct deposit
Is there a way that you can send me a new card please
I found this info below via the link you provided. I assume Santa Barbara TPG is the one who issues our Turbo Tax Cards. Meaning that anyone who got a their taxes on the Turbo card will get paper checks. Is that accurate?
"An IRS-issued check will be mailed to taxpayers that received a check printed from their tax professional's office or a debit card issued through Santa Barbara TPG"

Green Dot Bank issued my debit card. Not Santa Barbara.
@berger87 Scroll up and read. The Santa Barbra stuff has absolutely nothing to do with turbo tax Visa card from green dot. When you receivers that cars you also created a legit bank account in a way. It has its own dd number and routing number. It should come to the card if turbo tax aren’t complete yankers
We are still waiting for IRS guidance regarding updating or providing direct deposit information for the stimulus payments and how they will be distributed to these type of accounts. We will have more information once the government finalizes the details.

@JohnB5677 @I do not believe you guys will be getting “guidance” about these accounts. The system will simply see the direct deposit number and the routing number on the 1040 form. The system won’t be able to tell the difference between a Wells Fargo direct deposit account and the green dot account (turbo Visa card). The money will just come that way. Unfortunately you guys can’t say that because you cannot give false information but that is what will most likely happen.
You are right because we do not assume liability in case if this is misinformation. If you decide to do this, do so at your own risk.
