TT 2022 on Mac keeps asking for login keychain password

turbo tax wants to use my confidential info stored in "tmx....service" in my keychain and asks for a password. Wasn't aware I had a key chain.  please advise

You do have an keychain; it is managed by macOS. A while back Intuit started to use it (without explaining to its customers). Turbotax will ask Apple to store something in the keychain on your machine. You need only agree to to give TurboTax access. I don't know whether Intuit has ever explained just what it is using the keychain for.

Thank you!! This method worked for me by restarting and entering my Mac password.  I''ve been using TurboTax on Macs for years but this is the first time I've experienced this crazy 'keychain' prompt.
