They are apparently working on a fix. Personally, I'm going to hang 10 days or so and see if they fix the problem. I've e-filed with a schedule C before......

Same
I received the same message when filing the tax returns with the CD I purchased. I then went online to TurboTax .com and completed my taxes all over again and didn't get that message. This is definitely an error turbo tax is having. I wonder how long it will take them to figure out and this is their issue and not the customer's forms which are actually not allowed to be e-filed. Do better TURBO TAX... I have been filing with you for over 10 years and it makes me want to file in under another forum, last year I was having issues with the 1095A form being required when I don't even have that form. I had to redo it then too.
January 30 and same message/issue here. Would be nice to get an official response from Intuit here.
I can confirm that its the Schedule C thats the problem. I found this out by redoing my taxes and trying to eFile after every new form was added. I certainely hope TT is working on this. I called their customer service yesterday (1/30) and the rep told me it was a problem in my state forms and I had to wait for the state to fix something on 2/14.....The error spicifically said the problem was a FEDERAL form that could not be efiled....good grief. I have no faith in them whatsoever if their reps can't get something that obvious and don't even know about a problem that is this big in their software!
i am having same issue and it is the 30th and it still will not let me efile, if i mail them in they will send me letter stating incomplete and send forms to fill out and i dont want my taxes delayed this long i hope this issue gets fixed fast.
Today is the 30th and I still can't efile. It won't let me e-file anything that has anything to do with business.
It is the 30th and still same error for me.
I FINALLY got it to work. There was an old asset from years ago, fully depreciated but still in the forms. I always ignored it the last x numbers of years. I went back in to the Let me Choose, went back to each step in the business section (no business income etc) and deleted the info that was "stuck" in there. The issues should highlight this as the problem, but don't.

I'm going to throw my hat into this ring. This is ABSURD for a professional tax program to not be able to identify & notify customers that there is a minimum date for e-filing tax returns.
I had made myself a promise that this year, I wouldn't even wait until it was March before doing my taxes & decided to do them right after receiving my W2. Then I got the same error as everyone else, despite the fact that I've e-filed my return for over 10 years now & have NO SPECIAL FORMS whatsoever. So I was extremely confused with this stupid program telling me I had special forms to printout (which didn't print out because they didn't exist).
You are going to lose a MASSIVE amount of customers if you don't fix crap like this. This is tax program basics 101, seriously.
