TECHNICAL ISSUE: Form 8283 will not populate in my return. Filing rejected

Same here - I am trying to verify the form before I e-file because I don't want to get rejected again.  I download with IRS Attachments and don't see the form. Is that the proper way to see if the form will be attached?

@DanCaveman As far as I know, yes.  That is what I am doing as well...just reviewing the actual return right before re-submitting, and it's still not there.

Yes that is what I am doing too, on with tech support and still cannot get it to work.

@DanCaveman @RickPDX @MZUNIPEG67 I have spoken to 3 different customer service reps today (none of which really seemed to be aware of the issue) and the last one I just spoke with stated that the TurboTax online version will not be ready with the form until 2/6 now.

Thank you. Another Google search had someone stating 02/06 as well...so maybe that's what we should expect for now.

I spoke with CPA support, and he was able to get the form to generate with the over 500 option.  I saw a Feb 6 date as well somewhere else, but it amazes me TT doesn't inform their support folks.  Ugh.  Hopefully soon.

I checked my return this morning at 9:30ET via the online version and the Form 8283 was included and is being populated.

I e-filed this morning.  Before filing, I viewed the forms and form 8283 was included.  I have not received a response as to whether my taxes were accepted or not, but it appears the form was there.  I will update when I get notification as to the status of my return from the IRS.

EDIT: I have received a text from the IRS that my return was accepted.  It appears this is fixed in the online version.

Yay, I did as well, fingers crossed.  I did notice I had to re-enter numbers for them to create correctly.  So ya'll review well...Holy guacamole hopefully that worked. Have an awesome Monday.

I am havign the same exact problem. My submission was rejected due to form 8283 being missing. Last year it was included.  The final review indicated no problems before submitting my returns. I am trying to add the form back.  This is a technical problem that needs to be resolved.
