Please follow the instructions in this FAQ for steps to import your 1099 forms into TurboTax.
I'm not sure if you got it to work or not. Doing my taxes today with a Mac and downloaded Premier version, the Schwab and TD downloads worked OK. Maybe it got fixed? Anyways, good luck!
This helped...
If you use VPN or firewall, then turn it off and it works.
I am able to import TD Ameritrade 2024 tax document successfully, however it did not work with VPN. Ended up wasting an hour with Turbotax and Schwab customer service without any tangible help. The only suggestion we get is type it in manually.
I don't have any vpn or firewall, but the import still does not work.
The method described by st293 in
https://www.reddit.com/r/tdameritrade/comments/1j4esra/1099_not_importing_into_turbotax/?rdt=44959 works for me. The downside is it requires creating a new tax return from scratch.
BTW I meant his basis solution works, i.e., just starting a new return and importing as normal. I don't know his better solution of importing last year's return without TD part.
Have you tried changing your password for Ameritrade. Sometimes TurboTax doesn't like symbols.
See the following TurboTax Help articles for potential fixes:
Just wanted to comment that turning off Windows Defender firewall helped me get through the import. Also I'd like to mention that for whatever reason I needed to type the doc ID in CAPS, whereas I don't think that was an issue regarding cap sensitivity in previous years.
