the taxes can be amended
while this is a tax forum, maybe tell your parents the truth?
".......recently got married...." In 2019? Your spouse could not "claim" you on a tax return--but as a married couple you could file a joint return.
Your Social Security number has now been used on a 2019 tax return, and your unsuspecting parents now cannot e-file their own tax return claiming your as a dependent like they planned to. Were you a full-time student? Were they also going to claim education credits? They have no other way to file this time except for having to print, sign and mail their return unless they remove you as a dependent.
You do not tell us if you lived with your BF/now spouse all of 2019. If you did not, then the "my BF claimed me " story will not fly if they research the tax laws. Or they could be advised by someone to go ahead and claim you anyway and mail their tax return--so that in a year or so both your spouse and your parents hear from the IRS---looking to sort out who could claim you.
And now with the stimulus checks that are about to be issued--tensions will be running higher. As NC person suggested, you might want to consider telling the truth.
