Welp, now here we are with the MN state return rejected.  Anyone else?  Get to pull the crap back out of the filing cabinet that I thought I was finally done with and deal with it yet again tomorrow.  So sick of this crap.

The 'stateSchemaVersion' attribute is invalid - The value 'MNIndividual2023V1.2' is invalid according to its datatype 'String' - The Enumeration constraint failed.

What needs to be done:

Same thing happened here as well, first time and I was trying to research it. Couldn't find nothing. Now I see it's not just me.

Yes I got it and immediately got up to see what was wrong with it,and there was nothing I could see,so I started googling and found this. But the weird thing is turbo tax allowed me to go through the steps again ! Ugh, probably just todo it again tomorrow

I got this same exact error message today, i'll wait and refile MN again on probably 2/1 to be safe. This is my first year in MN and I was like "lord what did I enter in wrong?" This is the first time i've ever been rejected. Nothing I can do for right now but wait. Funny thing is the link that is on this posting shows the file (MN Individual - Form M1) is ready.. so idk

What a pain in the you know what. This will likely be the last year we use TurboTax. It hasn't been smooth this year. And you're right @Darth2438, the link that the "expert" shared says that all forms are ready for e-file. Booooo!

Does it suck? Yes, but for me, @brennasota it is the first month of the year and personally I think it was a bit early for me to file. I'm honestly not mad at TurboTax in any way. It's just something beyond our control for the moment. Hope it all works out for you though for next year's filing! Soon after my fiancee and I get married, it'll be a matter of time before we start having sit downs with a tax expert instead, to start filing together. Been with TurboTax since 2015 and this is the first hiccup I've seen in the 10 years with them.

@GIL4E it's def not all states, I moved to MN in May 2024, filed part time resident for both MN and my previous state SC and my SC return was accepted, as well as, Federal today and I filed last night on the 28th. Def just a MN thing for now.

An update: my MS return has just been rejected as everybody else here. WTF, TurboTax? I've been with you for 9 years, but it's time to find another provider.

I got the same message, I’ve gone through my whole return and can’t figure out where the issue is. Do you know what they’re saying needs to be fixed?

I contacted TurboTax and they said some states have not released different forms yet but to keep checking so the message says RS but when you call them, they stating some states and when I let them know on some platform, people are still allowed to file their taxes, they didn’t answer that question, but they told me tokeep checking every day
