Tax Extension

TurboTax very confusing about what to do after you have received your federal tax extension, which I obtained through TurboTax.  Why does it still prompt me to file online? Not sure what to do.  I owe money, and I input all the required information, but I just want to transmit the money, not file my taxes today.

Tax Extension

If you are getting emails ---they are just marketing emails.   Ignore them.   Pay your estimated 2024 tax due by April 15, 2025 and file your Form 1040 whenever you have it ready---by the October deadline.
