Tax and Interest Deduction Worksheet: Limited interest and points must be entered.

Limit Int/points on 1098_____

Found during smart check. Can't find under "easy step". If I understand correctly, this sheet matters if itemizing however I am taking standard deduction. Please guide me to easy step or how I may have missed this or what resulted in this.

You are correct, if you are taking the standard deduction, you don't need to enter your mortgage interest. You can try deleting the Tax & Int. Wks and that may resolve your issue as follows:

1. Click on Tax Tools in the left menu bar
2. Click on Tools
3. Look under Other Helpful Links and choose Delete a form

Find the form or schedule you want to remove in the list and click on the delete icon to remove it.

That would have come from entering your Form 1098 from your mortgage company.
