Stimulus Check

I was a dependent in 2018 so I would not qualify but I quality in 2019. I just filed today (4/16/20). Is it too late to get my stimulus check? Can I contact IRS to use my 2019 taxes not 218

IRS is sending out the stimulus payments in waves, we do not have information on the sequence they have chosen.

It is our understanding that if you are entitled to a stimulus payment, but don't receive one during 2020, those differences will be reconciled on the 2020 tax return, filed in the spring of 2021.
