@InsanoShaman

The IRS may or may not have your Direct Deposit information.  But it’s currently working on a Get My Payment application, due any day now, that you can use to let them know your bank account information, if they don't have your direct deposit information and haven't sent your payment.  Please see the IRS's Economic Impact Payments page for more information.

@062873W

Please see the TurboTax Help article "How do I fix a rejected return?" for guidance on fixing a rejected return, and the article "What does Rejected mean?" for a bit more in-depth explanation.

Yes, the IRS is depositing some stimulus payments onto prepaid debit cards for filers that chose to receive their refund through that method.

This blocking of the bank info affects about a zillion people who are not due a refund!!!  They may key in the bank info to the 1040...but TTax doesn't send it out unless there is a refund.

Too bad that the IRS does not yet have their bank info.

try this to check...open your return.  Go to the bottom of the 1040 form.  Key in your bank info...type of account, bank ID number, your account number.  Close out the return.  Open Print a return.  View proof of the return  on screen and see if on the 1040 there are your numbers or else a string of XXXs.  If you see XXXs then perhaps the IRS did not get your bank ID numbers.

Hopefully.  It may look like this...if not a refund then place XXX into the numbers area.  Pretty tough to find that and fix it.

The IRS website should be up in a couple of days.

The IRS is preparing Websites to update information and check your filing status.  It is expected to be completed in mid-April.

Please read what it says on the right hand side where it says “Filers: Get Your Payment”

Get Your Payment Status

Stimulus check and bank info showing on my return

I had to pay Federal tax but did get a refund from my State Tax which was sent to my bank account.  Please make sure the Federal Tax has my bank information off of my State Tax information.  That will make the stimulus check go to the right bank deposit.   My Turbo  Tax was filed John <removed>   Please confirm that this request has been completed by email to: [email address removed]

Thank You

It will be deposit to the bank account you entered when you filed your taxes.  No matter if you had fees taken out or not.  Chase Bank just posted.

Stimulus check and bank info showing on my return

It was a mistake that I got the turbo tax card and now I have to wait for my stimulus and had to enter my traditional bank  info  in the irs get my payment site because the irs said they didn’t have enough information to send the stimulus payment. How could that be when my refund was DD in the turbo tax card?. I definitely will not be using turbo tax Again EVER
