I saw a add online how can you help me direct deposit my stimulus

I filed turbotax efile becouse i had moved recently and i needed to have my stimulus check direct deposited,iam getting a income tax refund also,so are you saying that its a third party transaction and i have to wait till the irs.has it address and bsnk change portal set up.before i get my stimulus check?Turbotax should have atleast given you an option,i could have done something.now its to late!

So are you saying that it's still possiable that if you efiled and your getting a income tax return with direct deposite there is a chance the irs.will find. a way to have them both on your turbo card?

Yes thats true but if you efiled with turbotax just so you could get DD.for the stimulus chk. And your getting. a refund on you 2019 taxes,your stimulus check will not be direct deposited onto your turbotax card.and if your stimulus check has already been approved they are going to send it to the adress on your 2018 taxes!

Alot of people having been receiving notifications that the money was deposited to there TT Card and will be available on 4/15. One of these people being my husband.

No. Direct deposit info for state tax returns goes to the state, not the IRS. You will probably have to either enter your info on the forthcoming IRS filers portal or wait for a paper check.

Ya but if they are not going to direct deposite your stimulus check on your turbotax card,and you need to change your address and bank info.and by the time the portal is up to in -inputut your inf. tje Irs has already approved or processed your stimulus check ,you can't go back snd add any necessary  information,is that correct?

Hello, my question is what if your refund was offset this year but direct deposit info was entered and your state refund went there. Would your stimulus go to that account also? How about if your 2018 refund was deposited to a turbo card. Would your stimulus payment go to that card?

@Rob2020  If you filed a 2019 return, the IRS will use your direct deposit information from your 2019 return for your stimulus money.  Stimulus money will not be taken for back taxes.

Hi Champ...my question was what if when I filed my 2019 taxes...I put my direct deposit info in but my federal was offset and I only recieved my state. Will my stimulus STILL come to that account I entered?

@Rob2020 Yes, your stimulus check will be direct deposit into your account even though your refund was offset.  The IRS will use your direct deposit information from your 2019 return.

Ok thank you. I really hope this is accurate lol. So my next question was for my daughter. She filed 2019 but didn't make enough for a refund so there was no way to enter direct deposit info. Now she recieved a refund in 2018 but it was put on a turbo card thru here. How does that work now? Will her stimulus come on that turbo card from 2018?

@Rob2020 Since she filed a 2019 return the IRS will use her 2019 return for information.  The IRS is going to setup a portal next week (by April 17th) to allow taxpayers with no direct deposit information to enter their banking information.

You can check the IRS website for updated information as they continue to add to the stimulus information
