I received a similiar message but it did not inform that a fix would occur. F1040-478 - If Form 1040, 'IRADistributionRolloverInd', 'IRADistributionQCDInd' or 'IRADistributionOtherInd' is checked, then 'IRADistributionsAmt' or 'TaxableIRAAmt' must have a non-zero value.
The issue is that the 4a (IRA) rollover box is checked and should not be, I can't figure out how to uncheck it, while my 5a (pension) rollover box is also checked, which is correct. I will try wiaiting until Mar 13 and see if this issue will be resolved as shown in your message.
Can you confirm if your 1040- lines 4a and 5a rollover boxes are checked?
I got the same message after trying to fix it a few times.
I also had the rollover boxes checked both on 4a and 5a. I went to View Forms, and I was unable to uncheck the rollover box in 4a.
This should all be corrected during this weeks update. Try again on Friday.
Thank you @CatinaT1. Do I need to change anything or ensure certain check boxes are selected, or should I resubmit keeping everything the same
Why does Turbo Tax not publish a list of known errors (codes etc.) and status. I spend HOURS last week trying to solve this issue F1040-478 with no success. Finely on Tuesday I found the issue in the Community. Not sure Turbo Tax is keeping its customers best interests in mind.
It wasn't fixed on Friday (March 13th). Still broken. Are we waiting until next Friday now?
The issue still has not been resolved. Do you have any insight into when it will be fixed? TurboTax should communicate more clearly and proactively about matters like this. Tax season is already stressful, and being unable to submit returns and receive refunds in a timely manner reflects poorly on the service.
Saturday today March 14th. Error is not corrected. It still states to wait until the 13th. Which was yesterday.
I may have fixed it, at least I was able to refile. Still waiting on response from fed, but here's what I did. I'm posting details in another thread.

I deleted my 1099-Rs, continued through steps, then re-added them. Box 4c was now unchecked.
I suspect that the March 13th update did fix the logic for adding an 1099-R but didn't fix an existing one.
