state taxes with help in 1099 box 5

my 1099 shows state taxes withheld from box 5. How do I make sure they are accounted for correctly in my state tax return using turbotax?

If you entered the withholding in the federal interview, it automatically transfers.   What state was it for?   On the state tax return, look for the Line (in the Payments section) that refers to taxes withheld from 1099s.   Every state has it, but it is a different line depending on the state.   On the Federal 1040 it is line 25b.   Your state return will be similar.   See 1040 example below:
