State tax refund

For some reason, can not find a place to input the 2022 state refund which I applied on 2023 estimated tax. Since I did not itemised on the federal return 2022 so I did not input state refund info on my federal 2023.

Follow these steps to enter your 2022 State Refund that you applied to your 2023 State Return: 

1. Open or continue your return
2. Go to the Federal section, then Deductions & Credits
3. Select Estimates and Other Taxes Paid.
4. Select Start or Revisit next to Income Taxes Paid
5. Choose Start next to Estimated Tax Payments and choose Income Taxes Paid
6. Choose the drop down arrow next to 2022 Refund Applied to 2023
7. Choose 2022 refund applied to 2023 state taxes
8. Choose your state from the drop down menu, enter the amount, and then click Done
