Follow these steps to enter your 2022 State Refund that you applied to your 2023 State Return:
- Open or continue your return
- Go to the Federal section, then Deductions & Credits
- Select Estimates and Other Taxes Paid.
- Select Start or Revisit next to Income Taxes Paid
- Choose Start next to Estimated Tax Payments and choose Income Taxes Paid
- Choose the drop down arrow next to 2022 Refund Applied to 2023
- Choose 2022 refund applied to 2023 state taxes
- Choose your state from the drop down menu, enter the amount, and then click Done
