Yes, the AGI limit to qualify for the Electric Vehicle Credit is $300,000 for married couples filing jointly.

If TurboTax is showing a limit of $150,000, it may be because your filing status is incorrectly set to Single or Married Filing Separately. Verify your filing status in the Personal Info section to ensure it's set to Married Filing Jointly.

Follow this steps to switch to Married Filing Jointly in TurboTax

  • Go to the About me - Personal Profile screen in TurboTax Online.
  • Under Your Info, select your name, then click Edit/Review.
  • Continue until you reach the About Your Household screen.
  • Under Married, change the selection to Married plan to file jointly
