Selling books on Amazon

My daughter gave me all of her college books and I started to sell them on Amazon. We paid for the books in her tuition, but I don't have a dollar amount for each book. How do I enter the sales then enter my costs for these books. Also, what business code would I use for Amazon sales?

You don't need to report the sales if you sold them for less than you paid for them and the sales are not listed on a form 1099 that you received.
