I have a friend that filed with H&R Block and they had the Schedule H.
I use a Payroll service, they file the Schedule H and pay all taxes due (from my checking). That said, can I just not report the information on my form 1040, because when I do, TT form does not have a line item where I can report the taxes I paid, so TT is adding them to my taxes due.
You should enter your Schedule H in TurboTax so you could get credit for the taxes that you paid. Per IRS, Schedule H, Household Employment Taxes, attach to Form 1040, 1040-NR, 1040-SS or 1041. To enter IRS schedule H, click here.

@alan4msu thank you for mentioning H&R Block, i was able to file with them today, with the exact same numbers as TT. Now hopefully I can get my money back from Intuit.
Any update on the Schedule H availability? is it still March 17? It is indeed ridiculous!!
Thak you Ebony, but why it is delayed so much??? This is really concerning, not being able to file taxes this late?
You're welcome; we definitely understand the concern and frustration. However, the IRS has to approve the programming of their forms for the Turbo Tax software and It may take longer for one form to show up vs another for multiple reasons. With that said, in this public forum we do not have those specifics but what we do have is the list I provided earlier that outlines the target dates @NeseOnal.
as much as i love TT, Schedule H made me switch over to H&R this year, and I already have both federal and state returns in my bank account.
And now it’s 3/18. Come on.
As previously mentioned, the IRS has to approve the programming of the form and yes this can vary - sorry for any inconvenience. It is slated to be finalized tomorrow; please check back then.
when do we find out if the 3/18/22 date is going to be changed again?
Schedule H is currently available for the online product and at the time of writing this response, it still has a slated date of today 3/18/22 for the desktop software. You may keep up to date with the forms availability list @ccb6.
It's March 26th, using the Deluxe version on a Mac, fully updated, and there is no Schedule H to be found anywhere. Searching for it just takes us to the forums and they have nothing that helps.
IF it exists, can someone please tell me, step-by-step, what to click on in the app? We entered our nanny's name and what we paid her, but there is no Schedule H option, nothing that says Nanny Tax or Household Employee Tax, no ability to enter our Employer ID number, nothing at all with those words in the app. Aside from our own taxes, this could damage her own filing.
Please search for these terms "household employee taxes, sch h". If this does not work, please post here in the thread for further assistance.
