My husband retired in May 2024. I need to do January to April normal and from May to December as retired. How do I do this?

Nothing special, you file the same way as always. He will have a W2 and will be getting a 1099R for any retirement and a SSA-1099 if he gets Social Security. Just enter all the income into your tax return.
