Quick Employer forms 1099-nec

We used the Quick Employer Forms for completing the 1099-NEC and efiled, 29, 1099-NEC, however the Quick Employer Forms response still shows "processing E-File Request".    Is there an error or when does it change to transmitted.

As per the Quick Employer Forms FAQ, after e-filing your 1099 form, please monitor your filing status on the Quick Employer Forms Home Page. The e-file status will update from "Sent" to "Accepted" or "Rejected" when the Government Agency processes the form. The status change may take up to 2 to 4 weeks and does not mean there is an error. You will also receive a notification by e-mail when the status changes.

It states on the "Quick Employer Forms" the status is PROCESSING E-FILE REQUEST,  the form does not say sent, or transmitted.  Hopefully processing e-file request means that it was transmitted, ?

Processing means that your 1099's are being processed by the IRS. This means that the IRS is checking for errors. The next step in the process would be Accepted or Rejected
