I have followed the instructions below, but the "Let's make sure you got the right stimulus amount" screen does not appear. Instead, I am taken to the Federal review screen.

  1. Log into TurboTax.
  2. After entering all your information click "Federal Review" at the top of your screen.
  3. On the screen click "Let's make sure you got the right stimulus amount" Continue"

My taxable income is below the $160k AGI threshold but my total income is above. I have completed my two children's returns without issue but am unable to complete mine.

I need help and soon!!

Thank you for your prompt solution.

The stimulus question will not be asked if your 2021 AGI is above the maximum for the Recovery Rebate Credit -

    • Single or married filing separately—$80,000
    • Married filing jointly or qualifying widow(er)—$160,000
    • Head of household—$120,000

You keep any of the 3rd stimulus payment you received.

If you read my initial message you'll note that I specifically said that my 2021 AGI was below $160. And still I'm not being asked to confirm my 2021  EPI.

I believe there is a problem in the software. Please look into and advise.

    Thank you.

You said My taxable income is below the $160k AGI threshold.  Taxable Income and the AGI are totally different amounts.  Your 2021 AGI is on the Form 1040 Line 11 and your Taxable Income is on Line 15.

    What is your 2021 AGI?

    Look at your tax return.

Using the desktop editions click on Forms.  Open the Form 1040.
