Update and state download not working. Update progress window just stays frozen. Is there another way to get state (using deluxe/with state product online)

New York.  I tried the patch wouldn't work...I tried a separate state download wouldn't work...finally after the 7 or 8th try of uninstalling and reinstalling the NEW software it worked.  But even then the NYS software was not working properly.  Was able to upload the original tax file that had a corrected EIN and send out.  Both have been accepted.  Should not have been this hard and stressful!  Very Very disappointed in Turbotax this year.
