I was overcharged last night and so far my attempts to get a refund have been unsuccessful!
When I checked out, I saw $167. I put my card info on and all of a sudden the fee was to $222. I didn't agree to that. It's very sick to now see that it's a common practice of Turbo Tax to do this. I now to to dispute the charge with my credit card company.
This is my first year ever using this platform and certainly my last. Good riddance

Same and was verified and promised refund but told it has to he issued by filling out a form, the claim got denied both times even after the supervisor said notes were added that I let them screen share to verify.
I authorized and was asked for credit card info for the amount 98.00 also got a payment receipt with and confirmation number for my order for the amount of 98.00 - only a bit later I got a separate email with a receipt with the same transaction number/ confirmation number but for 258.00! I NOTICE not THE 98.00 I authorized. SO now need to go to the bank to proceed with a formal chargeback and file complaints with the FTC and my state Attorney General. It ruined my last 2 days chatting multiple times filling out forms speaking to multiple people. They all admit it and say the form is the only way
