Do I just answer the questions? It doesn't have me attach an actual form does it?
I just want to make sure I'm not missing anything.
This is actually a lie
IRS Instructions for form 8379 Injured Spouse Allocation reads as follows:
"How To File
You can file Form 8379 with your joint tax return or amended joint tax return (Form 1040-X), or you can file it afterwards by itself."
I forgot to sign up for injured spouse can I still do it where I did my taxes already? I am not getting a refund but if I don't sign up for this They are going to take my stimulate check . I am disabled and receive SSDI ONLY.
