When no Internet is available....how to open and input information on Turbotax forms???
You'll need to sign in or create an account to connect with an expert.
If you are using Turbo Tax Online, you will need the internet to open and input information within Turbo Tax.
Yes...what an interesting concept. Why would one not "sign in" to utilize an online Turbotax version.
However, when installing from the CD, it would be convenient to be able to enter data when a secure Internet connection is not available.
Initially this was possible. Some data was entered into forms. However, seems unavailable now.
Any productive ideas would be very much appreciated.........

You do not need an internet connection to enter data in the TurboTax desktop editions. The software is on your computer, not online. You do need an internet connection to receive program updates, which are provided weekly usually from January through mid-March or later, and to e-file a tax return.
While an Internet connection should not be required, the application insists on updating. It is spinning around in circles now. How do I get it to stop?
