An extension only extends the deadline to file a return. You must still pay an estimate of taxes owed by today, July 15.
If you are getting a refund, you don't need an extension because they are no penalties for filing a return with a refund after the filing deadline.
The short answer is you can file an extension through TurboTax or through the IRS.
