My ex claimed my children and I when filing his 2018 taxes now he is in prison and I claimed me and my children this year. Will he receive the stimulus for us or will I?

@jamielknight28 - the IRS is supposed to use 2019 and MAY USE 2018 if it chooses.  While no guarentee, most people on these boards indicate the IRS is using 2019. 

did you check the GET MYPAYMENT portal for status?

Thank u! I was worried since I still haven’t gotten any of my taxes or the stimulus yet due to my taxes still being processed with the IRS I didn’t know how that would work. I have sent everything I can in for what they needed to finish up unfortunately they aren’t working on them yet.

I keep checking my status and it doesn't have a date on it just states that I will get it and that it will be deposited into my bank account.
