TT just missed yet ANOTHER promised deadline!
Again? Why is it so hard for them to generate 1116B? Maybe they can ask the OLT engineers for help?

Today is 3/10. The IRS website has form 1116. Why doesn't TurboTax have it?

Well, it's 3/10/22 and nuthin'.- Worst year ever with TurboTax; this is not my only issue.
We're getting closer. I just updated. Now it proceeds to e-file but the transmit step fails because the form 1116 sch b pdf (it gives a filename) is missing. Hopefully a simple bug to fix.
Had a chat with Bright Tax yesterday. They charge $489 flat fee if taxes are not too complex. You send them your documents, they fill out the tax forms, you review, they file. You are allowed to ask questions, but at some point they start charging a consulting fee of $130 per half hour.
Btw, Bright Tax did say they were having issues with the Form 1116, but it's working now. Don't think I will use them. A bunch of red flags went off when they said the only document they would need from me was my pay stub.
I'm going to try again tomorrow. Fingers crossed.
had the same problem that it cannot find the 1116 schedule b attachment when it transmit. How long should I wait or I should go ahead and file with OLT??
A new update for my Mac CD Home & Business version was loaded overnight and when I ran it this morning Form 1116 Schedule B shows up. Have not e-filed yet but it looks like the wait is over.
You will not be able to efile I think. It failed for me saying that there was no attachment of form 1116 schedule B. Of course, the option to do an attachment is greyed out.
