RE: Manually Enter Info into my Scheduel WD

Hello,

How do I manually enter/edit information on my schedule WD? I am using premium expert assist, already paid for it, and I do not have an option to edit or manually input missing information into my schedule WD. This is an issue and needs to be fixed. Thank You.

RE: Manually Enter Info into my Scheduel WD

I assume you referring to the Wisconsin Schedule WD used to determine the gain or loss amount that needs to be included in Wisconsin income on the Wisconsin Form 1 individual tax return.

To make adjustments to Schedule WD, go to the Wisconsin state section in Step-by-Step in TurboTax Desktop and continue through the screens until you get to one that says Adjustments for Capital Gains and Losses? Answer Yes and proceeds through several screens until you get to the Gain and Loss Summary. That screen will allow you make edits if needed.

If the Wisconsin return has already made an adjustment for state differences between the Federal and Wisconsin gains and losses, you will see Wisconsin Gains and Losses highlighted under Here's the income that Wisconsin handles differently. From there you can Edit the amount to make changes.

Here are the instructions for reporting capital gains and losses on a Wisconsin tax return for more information.

RE: Manually Enter Info into my Scheduel WD

I have already paid for TT expert assist and switching to the desktop version is additional upfront money with less features/benefits/ comparatively. I should be able to edit my Wisconsin schedule WD in the online version without having to pay any additional fees/costs.  It's not my fault that the information from federal's schedule D did not carry over lines 2,3, 9, 10 into my Wisconsin schedule WD. I am missing those capital losses. Do you have any other suggestions with how to proceed or file while I am waiting for TT to fix this issue? Thank You.
