Mac OS Big Sur - When will Turbotax run under this OS?

Just want to update - I downloaded Deluxe from Amazon in 4/8 and had ZERO problems..  Did my taxes in one go and was successful with no issues.  Maybe they have fixed it?

Is my only alternative to use Turbotax 2020 on my new iMac (NO CD) is to download it?

I have for the past several years purchased Turbo tax at Costco for a discount. Thanks for helping

Not sure but my recommendation is to download from TT.  You probably will get the latest version.  I had problems using BigSur ..... finally a tech from TT had me download using a new license code.....this worked with no problems.  The issues I had for 2 months disappeared.

I purchased from Costco; got the CD but my new iMac did not come with cd reader so I

downloaded and had no issues (using Big Sur). Note TT also provided great assistance with

a personal issue I had questions with.

Until TurboTax provides a working update, try something I found on discssions.apple.com: TurboTax will still run on Mojave. I have an external SanDisk drive with Mojave installed on it, so I restart my Mac from this drive, and TurboTax runs as smoothly as before. My Mac Hard Disk and its Documents folder with my TurboTax files (as well as Quickbooks, Excel, etc.) is still accessible. When I'm done working on TT, I just restart from my internal drive as I would normally. Annoying work-around, but it does work.

It also runs beautifully on Monterey OS 12.1

Are you currently using it on Monterey 12.1?  Did you have a problem when on Big Sur?

It took hours with customer service before it worked for 2020 tax returns.  I am afraid to download Monterey….

To Jessebectold and George 36: I purchase and download directly from Intuit each year, so I did not have problems last year or this year with Turbotax Home/Business. Last year it seemed that people having the most problems downloaded from non-Intuit sources. (Nope, I do not work for Intuit.) No problems with Monterey and my Intuit-download of TTHB 2021.

I download direct from Turbotax.  Never was able to get 2020 to work on Big Sur.  2021 did not work on Big Sur, I upgraded to Monterey and 2021 does not open with Monterey.  The TurboTax tech help was of no assistance.  After numerous suggestions they thought I should use the On-Line edition.  Not an acceptable response given they have known of the issue for a year.
