Use the Tax Withholding Estimator on the IRS web site to figure out what to put on your W-4 form. It will show you how to adjust your withholding to get the approximate refund amount that you want.

You should adjust your withholding to account for this. You can do this by filling out a new Form W-4 with your employer. You can select to have an additional dollar amount withheld if necessary.

As rjs mentions above, you can use the IRS Tax Withholding Estimator to determine how to fill out your new form W-4.

You can also try the TurboTax W-4 Withholding Calculator to help you find the right withholding when completing a new W-4. You can use this info to boost your refund.
