I am filing jointly with my wife this year. She has 457(b) (I do not). So I am not familiar without the457(b) is reported. Is it simply just reported through the info on her W2? (it is through her employer) or is there another form she was supposed to have received? (she hasn't gotten anything else)
Just want to double check. Thanks so much!

The 401(k) contributions to a employer sponsored retirement plan are only entered on the W-2 in box 12 with a code of D. They are not entered anywhere else on a tax return.
Thank you! So I was actually wrong, it's a 457(b). This is also on her W2. Just to confirm, is that also the only place a 457(b) is reported? (Box 12, code of EE) Thank you

Yes, the W-2 is the only place that the contributions are reported.
