The email I received was from [email address removed].  It had a picture of a scratch and win ticket which upon clicking you will see what your discount is.  I clicked it and it was going to go to a non-secured site so I backed out of it altogether.

The filter removed the email address, so we have no idea who sent you the email.   If it looked suspicious then backing out seems like the best reaction.  The current fees for online TurboTax are already discounted, and will go up in March.   Or...if you are purchasing the desktop download, there are retailers with lower prices than the ones you see on the Intuit site.

You can also purchase the desktop download from various retailers such as Costco, Amazon, Walmart, Best Buy, Staples, Sam’s Club, etc. etc. etc.

And just so you know—online prices go up in March—Pay your fee before then to lock in the discount
