If I purchase TurboTax Premier Online, and then LATER decide to upgrade to the Live Assisted Help, can I do that? Is the final cost the same as if I purchased the Live Assisted Help in the beginning?

Yes. You only pay the difference in price from what you have already paid and the price for the upgrade.

Using the TurboTax online editions, click on Upgrade on the left side of the online program screen when you are accessing the 2022 online tax return.
Thanks, I do not see an Upgrade button. I purchased a CD of the program but installed online rather than with the CD. Maybe that isn't considered the online version? If that is the case, am I able to upgrade to the LIVE version and get credit for my purchased version?
You cannot get a credit if you decide to use the TurboTax online editions instead of the TurboTax desktop edition you purchased. But you can request a refund if the purchase was from TurboTax.

If you created an online account with a online User ID and password you only need to start the 2022 tax return using the online editions.
You can start with one of the Live editions if you want Tax Expert assistance with your return.

@TracieLB Right. The Desktop CD/Download program is not the Online version. LIVE is only available in the Online web versions.
If you want the LIVE expert help and review you need to use the Online version. You can't apply the Desktop CD/Download purchase to Online. You have to pay for Online separately. You will have to get a refund for the Desktop program. Then you can use the Online web version. You will have to start your return over in the Online version.
