Is food given by a customer considered a tip and taxable income?

I work in the food service industry as a barista and customers at times will drive by and hand us food like donuts or candy and stuff. Is this considered a tip and is it considered taxable income by the IRS? If so, how would one go about actually reporting that on their taxes?
