Support hours are actually 5 AM to 5 PM PST (or 8 AM to 8 PM EST). I was on hold for ~15 min and my call was dropped precisely at 8 PM EST
@roberts9107 The support hours you saw posted in this thread were in a reply given in February--during prime tax season. Support hours change at various times of the year.
It would be nice if they could finish up the callers on hold before going home for the evening. Instead, I got hung up on then received an email telling me my case was closed. I tried calling earlier in the day but was on hold much longer than the 5 to 10 minute estimated hold and had to hang up to make an appointment. They could state the hours of service in obvious ways so that users know when is best to call. I only found out after trying to call again after 8 PM EST.
