I am having a similar problem and I am using Chrome. I plan to switch to Edge now to see if that works.
Note that my upload was not flawless, but I think it was the same last year. I still had to manually enter some information on state bonds and small foreign tax credits from mutual funds.
My issue is still not resolved but with new findings: I can see the data are already imported into TT, so not a data import issue, but TT won't show two 1099-DIV in the returns. Another call to support and they had no clue what happened. In the end TT support suggested I manually enter the forms but they did not know how to do it. I figured out myself and it worked at least. My experiences with 4 support stuff: None of them can fix anything, and three of them did not even care. Do not understand why TT is rated as best tax prep app?
>i have no idea how to direct TT to use EDGE rather than Chrome.
If you are using MS Windows, go into Settings -> Default Apps. Change your Default Browser to EDGE and TT will use Edge instead of Chrome. After your done with TT you can go back and change it to Chrome.
Another way is to open Edge and go to Settings. On the left side about 1/2 way down the page you'll see Default Browser. Click that and 'Make MS Edge your default browser'.
Good luck!
John
Thanks for continuing to post your experience. I had this problem last year and just gave up but I will try chrome and see if it works for me.
Thanks so much. This worked and got me to where I wanted to be.
that said, I prefer chrome so now I have to go back and change my default browser to Chrome again. Not a major “pain” but TurboTax should work flawlessly with all major browsers!
I had 5-6 MAJOR issues with TurboTax this yr. The tax prep this year was a nightmare and it should not be like that. I have been using it for 25-yrs and with the exception of last yr and this yr, the software worked pretty flawlessly. I need to explore other vendors.
Just make sure you check the imported information. In my case, I still had to type in information about state government bonds and foreign tax credits from mutual funds, even though most information was imported.
Importing from specifically Fidelity Investments into the download version of TurboTax H&B is causing it close with an error notice. Importing from Vanguard was no problem.
If you have more than one account with Fidelity, try importing from only one account at a time and logging out and bac in to import from the second account.
I suggest you try these troubleshooting steps:
If after trying all of the options mentioned you still have the same problem:
See this help article and this one for instructions on how to contact TurboTax customer support depending on which product you are using.
Same here. We have multiple accounts, individual and joint accounts with Schwab. I have tried importing all at once or one at a time. They only show the last imported no matter how I sequence them.
I am using Win11/MS Edge and still can only Import 1 account successfully.
The problem still exists on 2024 tax year, Premier version. I can see 3 accounts on TD/Schwab and check the box on all 3 -1099/Div accounts to IMPORT, yet only 1 account will import and others show $0.00 in account Interest/Dividends and bow shows that file "Needs Review"
Great description of errors!
I am having Exactly the problem!
Same issue exists in 2026 importing 2025 tax files. Turbo Tax had a year to fix this but didn't.

You may also try using another browser.
Make sure your transactions aren't going over the TurboTax limits:
If your transaction numbers are getting close to these limits, it can cause the system to lag or time out. If this happens, you may need to clear your return and start over. Then try entering the sales section totals into TurboTax, rather than entering individual sales. If you still encounter issues, you may need to switch to TurboTax Desktop to continue your return.

With all due respect -
Other users noted this same problem over a year ago and I found that someone posted a similar suggestion - using edge browser. This is a ridiculous solution. I tried using Chrome and Firefox, but neither worked. Chrome is pretty much the industry standard on PCs and for Intuit not to address this issue in over a year is inexcusable.
If you are an employee of Intuit, please have someone address this issue, or at a minimum state up front that you may be forced to use a specific browser to have access to the import function. Perhaps Intuit has a Knowledge database or Known Problem database that this problem can be recorded in if it is beyond the capability of the staff to resolve the issue
